Hey all! So my blog was left abandoned for a long while. There are reasons for it. The last I posted I was getting ready to go to my Ross University interview. I never posted any more because I wanted to wait and see how things unfolded before writing about my experiences.
I found my interviewer to be somewhat rude and condescending. Those issues aside he told me that I probably would not be accepted. In retrospect, I shouldn't have taken his comments to heart because he was not on the admissions committee.
I was told that my decision could be expected between 3 and 6 weeks. After not hearing anything for 6 weeks I started to move on with my plans. I decided to move to Kentucky. If I wasn't going to get into vet school, I wanted to not be in upstate NY any longer. Eight weeks after my interview I signed a lease for an apartment in Lexington.
11 weeks after my interview I received a conditional acceptance into Ross. The acceptance was based on the condition that I passed a course that I was taking. (Obviously, I passed the course)
But here I am in Lexington, KY. The whole thing turned me off from Ross... but maybe I'll apply again later in my life.
